Children's now has the ability to allow parents, patients and visiting doctors/residents access to a Guest wireless network which will give them access to the Internet. Please follow the steps below to gain access.

1) After turning your laptop on, your computer should prompt you in the system tray that it detects a wireless network. You may need to click the computer icon in the system tray.

2) Click the "Connect to a network"/ "Wireless networks detected" choice and you will be prompted to choose a wireless network.

3) Double-click the "CHSGUEST" network (or single click the "CHSGUEST" network then click "Connect"). This will attach you to the Guest wireless network.

4) You may be prompted with the message that you are connecting to an unsecured network. If so, click "Connect Anyway."

5) If you are presented with a Security Alert concerning a Security certificate, click "Yes" to proceed.

6) Once you open an Internet browser window, you will be presented with a Legal Disclaimer. Once you click on the "Accept" button, you will gain access to the Guest wireless network.
